SpeedNabber™ for Home Owner Associations

In gated communities and other large residential complexes there is a requirement to calm traffic. Recent studies show that radar speed signs are not effective due to their lack of enforceability. SpeedNabber™ is evidence driven and is a most effective tool in reducing speeds and increasing safety in your community. The SpeedNabber™ radar measures the speed of each passing vehicle.When a vehicle exceeds a user configurable maximum speed, the digital camera captures a series of images of the vehicle and its license plate. SpeedNabber™ gives the home owners association undeniable proof of speed violators. The HOA can impose fines or issue warnings to be included with the monthly dues.

Enforcement may take the form of a gentle warning letter to the owner of the offending party and eventually the issuance of a more definitive letter defining legal steps that the association might take. Additional violation processing and data management can be done by our staff for a low monthly fee with violations being forwarded to the HOA on a monthly or weekly basis.

Each SpeedNabber™ unit comes pre-installed with software for setting speed thresholds and managing data. Photos of speed violator vehicles can be remotely accessed from any web browser.
