SpeedNabber™ - Various Office Suites and Services can be provided for Violation Enforcement Processing.

TDS can supply customers with several levels of Speed Violation Enforcement Processing. The support can be in the form of software to be implemented by the agency or of services provided by TDS to the agency. This support includes the chain of processing and administrative functions of a photo enforcement program which complete the prosecution of the violation, including documentation of speeding events, identification of subjects, mailing of citations, coordination with the court system, etc. The process with viable options is shown below.

SpeedNabber™ generates the violation transaction and the associated images. The violation data is then transmitted in one of three ways.

• Physical Upload - Using the Built-In Wireless
• Network - Using the Built-In Wireless or Direct Cable
• Wireless Remoting to Officer Vehicle (Law Enforcement)

In the case of local law enforcement the violation is turned into a ticket by the officer and the ticket information is passed to the law enforcement agency responsible for processing the ticket. TDS has no involvement in this processing path other than to transfer the necessary information to the officer's vehicle.

In the smaller organizations the data may be uploaded to a violation processing workstation through the wireless link in the SpeedNabber. For this TDS offers a workstation software package called NabberStation. From here the local security office manually processes the violations. Once they have determined the action required they may:

• Issue letters/tickets themselves and collect the funds using the Nabberstation facilities.
• Use a separate TDS Speed Violation Processing Center (SVPC) to store the violation data and handle the violation processing and letter/ticket issuing.

In larger commercial installations the violation data will be transferred via a wide area network to a violation processing center. This processing center may be customer owned or provided by TDS as a service.

In this set of scenarios TDS can supply three separate products. They include:

• Software to support manual processing of violations by the customer.
• Software and hardware to support automated processing by the customer.
• Processing services to process all violations for the customer.
